Synopsis

In this 1-day course, students will learn to install and maintain the Rosemount 3051 Pressure, and 3144P Temperature Transmitter, as well as the operation and inter-face capabilities of the Field Communicator.

Objectives

Upon completion, attendees will be able to:

  • Explain the differences between Analog and Smart Transmitters
  • Recognize 3051S and 3144P parts and know their function
  • Explain the operation principles of the 3051S and 3144P Transmitters
  • Use the Field Communicator to configure and test the 3051S Pressure and 3144P Temperature Transmitters
  • Correctly install and troubleshoot the 3051 Pressure and 3144P Temperature Transmitters
